Difficulty Embedding CapCut Projects into Bloom Lesson Materials

Hi everyone,

I’m working on integrating CapCut video editing templates into my Bloom website. The goal is to allow users to easily access and use these templates within the Bloom interface for their language learning projects.

I’ve been able to embed the CapCut templates themselves using iframes. However, I’m facing a few challenges:

  1. Limited Editing Functionality: Currently, users can only preview the templates within Bloom. Ideally, I’d like to allow them to make basic edits (e.g., adding text, changing colors) directly on the Bloom platform before exporting the CapCut project. Is there a way to achieve this level of in-platform editing with embedded CapCut templates?
  2. Cross-Origin Restrictions: I’m encountering some CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) issues when users try to access CapCut assets (like fonts or images) from within the Bloom website. This can sometimes lead to broken elements within the template preview. Have others faced similar CORS issues with CapCut embeds, and if so, are there any recommended solutions?
  3. Accessibility Considerations: I’m aiming to ensure these embedded CapCut templates are accessible to users with disabilities. Are there any specific accessibility guidelines or best practices to keep in mind when embedding CapCut projects?

Any insights or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated!
